WHICH IS BETTER, NESPRESSO OR LAVAZZA? DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NESPRESSO SYSTEMS AND A MODO MIO
Capsule coffee machines have become trendy over the last few years, and are popular even more today due to their ease of use and great results that anyone can get. Just wait for the machines to stabilize at the operating temperature, insert a capsule and press the dispensing button. Generally, both Nespresso and Lavazza rely on established manufacturers and both systems are of good quality and generally (as long as water is not too hard) of long duration.
Lavazza and Nespresso: what are the main differences between the machines?
First of all, the operating principle of the two machines is substantially different and exploits dispensing principles quite distant from each other. Lavazza capsule systems are, in our opinion, more suitable for the Italian market because they better reflect the express delivery. Nespresso coffee machines, on the other hand, thanks to their sophisticated and innovative method of infusion and extraction of the coffee, generally guarantee a greater quantity of cream but, especially with the original capsules, a more “international” delivery, generally rapid and not very full-bodied for tastes of the “Country of Espresso”.
It is worth remembering that Lavazza capsules contain more coffee (7.5 grams of coffee compared to 5 grams of Nespresso capsules) and this certainly guarantees greater body.
Both systems can dispense hot drinks other than coffee (Lavazza has a rather limited choice, while Nespresso does not provide original capsules other than coffee); to expand the range of products available, it is possible in any case to choose compatible ones, such as A Modo Mio compatible capsules or those compatible with Nespresso DolceVita.
Given the size of the capsules, it will not be possible to dispense “beverages” but rather delicious hot drinks that have a dosage similar to that of a long coffee. Anyone wishing to dispense “longer” drinks must necessarily use 2 capsules.
In any case, both systems and the related machines are very convenient for home use and small offices and guarantee easy use and excellent delivery quality.
